Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred. Fluency in Farsi and/or Spanish is required to effectively serve our diverse patient population.
Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV infusions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Provide patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
- Perform inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to pharmacy practice.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not mandatory.
