Job Summary
Job Summary
The Music Paraeducator will work at both elementary schools. 8.5 hours per day(1/2 hour unpaid lunch), 2 days at El Morro, and 3 days at Top of the World. Under the general supervision of the Elementary Principals and direction of the K-12 Vocal Music Teacher, work with students in kindergarten through fifth grade on general and vocal music instruction. Oversee the District’s Honors Chorus; which includes running after-school classes and coordinating various evening or weekend performances.

Resume Letter of interest 2-3 Letters of reference Must be able to pass DOJ and Fingerprint clearance Valid and current CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire
Current Reporting hours 7:30 - 4:00 Hours and work location are subject to change at any time based on the needs of the student body. PLEASE NOTE: 10 month employees are not required to work during Thanksgiving, first and second winter break, and spring break periods. However, employees have reasonable assurance of returning to employment after each recess/break period during the traditional school work calendar unless notified in writing. District Benefits include: 16 Paid Holidays 1 Floating Holiday 1 Vacation Day per Month 1 Sick Leave Day per Month
