Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Greenskeeper / Grounds Maintenance team member to maintain the pristine condition of our outdoor spaces, including golf courses and landscaped areas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the grounds through expert landscaping, turf management, and equipment operation. Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course grounds and landscaped areas by mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth.
• Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, chainsaws, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent over or under-watering.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or materials safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including planting, pruning, mulching, and gardening to enhance visual appeal.
• Apply pesticides responsibly following all regulations to control pests and protect plant health.
• Operate company vehicles for transportation around the grounds or between job sites as needed.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of all groundskeeping tools and machinery.
• Assist with land management tasks such as soil preparation, drainage improvements, and general landscaping projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment including power tools, chainsaws, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles related to turf management, gardening, landscaping, and land care practices.
• Experience with athletic field groundskeeping or golf course maintenance is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy objects or operating manual tools.
• Familiarity with pesticide management procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong understanding of irrigation system operation and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of ground quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
