Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and company standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including organizing supplies and cleaning glasses
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
- Process customer payments accurately using cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and garnishes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating bills, and making change
