Responsibilities:
- Maintain a warm, welcoming and professional demeanor while interacting with all guests and clients while working in both positions.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensure proper payment is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, with accurate information is recorded
- Effectively address and resolve guest problems to increase guest satisfaction
- Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments
- Maintain an accurate Sales System
- Prepare contracts and proposals while overseeing payments
- Records and files all correspondence for easy retrieval
- Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability, quoting established group rates and assisting in overall business growth
- Provides weekly reports to necessary departments regarding upcoming scheduled events and hotel needs
- Coordinate and conduct site tours emphasizing features to meet client needs and opportunities to enhance overall satisfaction
- Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on sales and client needs.

Requirements
- Prior hotel experience 1-2 years
- Position is on site
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to meet one-on-one with clients
- Prior sales experience is not necessary but would be beneficial
