AUTOMOTIVE RECEPTIONIST

THE POSITION:
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • Operate a computer.

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Skill and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Operate office equipment.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Education and Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.

  • One to three years related experience and/or training.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to deescalate upset guest complaints professionally.

  • Knowledge of CRM.

  • Use of computerized telephone directories to find numbers that guests request.

  • Transfer calls to the correct person or department.

  • Answering emails and sending emails to correct staff.

  • Call, text and email new and pre-existing guests to set service appointments when needed, following the appointment setting guidelines.

  • Call, text and email pre-existing guests to set sales appointments when needed, following the appointment setting guidelines.

  • Use of appropriate scripts and following transfer and message protocols.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
