Position Overview
As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles to prepare them for the sales lot or customer delivery. Your attention to detail will help ensure every vehicle looks its best.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash vehicles using appropriate cleaning solutions, water, cloths, and brushes.
- Clean engines to remove grease and other materials.
- Buff and polish paint surfaces as needed.
- Apply specialty cleaners to remove difficult stains or materials according to manufacturer instructions.
- Complete all required training including OSHA right-to-know courses.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Work Environment
- Work environment is usually loud.
- Requires frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and scrubbing.
- Exposure to exhaust fumes and airborne particles is common.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive detailing experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, organization skills, and positive attitude.
- Experience using a polishing wheel is preferred.
- Willingness to complete all required training and certifications.
