Under the general direction of the Chief Business Official, the Fiscal Analyst will independently perform a variety of professional, advanced technical and analytical accounting, budget management, and business services functions ensuring prompt and accurate handling of matters related in the areas of fiscal and budgetary analysis. The position will assist in the direction of work processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget development and management, and general ledger accounts; will review, audit and adjust assigned accounts; will process, report and audit various transactions; and will prepare, reconcile and maintain a variety of financial and statistical records, reports and statements. The position will assist in the direction of instruction to employees in subordinate positions in the Business Department.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of training, experience and/or education equivalent to: Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of professional experience in accounting, finance, business administration or closely related field, preferably in a California public school district.
