Be part of something bigger—apply today!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), you will conduct routine and complex laboratory tests in various fields such as toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology. Join our dedicated team committed to delivering the best patient care!Your Responsibilities Will Include:Performing chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.Producing accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and more.Maintaining quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment, and monitoring quality control measures.What You Need to Succeed:Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science or a related field required OR “Grandfathered” as a medical technologist by CLIA 88.MT (ASCP), CLS (NCA), MLS (ASCP), or equivalent certification required OR registry/certification eligible.Registry/certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.Experience preferred.About UsLafayette Regional Health Center is a 25 bed critical access hospital accredited by the Joint Commission.
