What are the responsibilities and job description for the Insurance Coordinator position at Lafayette Orthodontics?
We are a fun fast paced office looking for someone to add to our incredible team. Hours would be Mon 9am- 6:15pm and Tues- Wed 8:00-5:30, (20-25hrs/wk) and Thursdays from 9am-3pm with Fridays off- for long weekends :) !

Checking patient insurance eligibility
Filing patient insurance
Keeping track of and posting insurance payments
Scheduling patient appointments
Answering phones and emails
Taking payments
Correspondences with dental offices (letters and emails)
General Cleaning
Must have previous work experience in a similar position.
The ideal candidate is engaging and welcoming to the patients. We are looking for someone who will make the patients feel at home and be attentive to their needs. The candidate is required to be punctual, self-driven, attentive to detail, and able to multi task. The candidate should possess receptionist skills including answering phones with a professional demeanor, computer skills including proficiency with word, excel, and email. We will train you how to use our office management software.
