Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our team and deliver exceptional care in an in-patient setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting residents’ health, safety, and well-being through compassionate, trauma-informed caregiving and medical assistance.
Responsibilities
- Administer/observe/document administration of medication in accordance with prescriber directions and agency procedure.
- Complete medication inventories, including at admission or residential exit. Complete controlled medication counts with a second staff member at the end of each shift.
- Document medication refusals, discrepancies, side effects, adverse reactions, notifying the Nurse, on-call professionals, treatment team, poison control, emergency medical services, or other designated personnel according to the urgency of the situation and agency procedure.
- Monitor and document client physical status as assigned, including vital signs and identified medical concerns.
- Respond to medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Ensure client safety and confidentiality.
- Perform crisis intervention utilizing de-escalation techniques and trauma-informed care.
- Answer after hours crisis hotline.
- Facilitate assigned group activities.
- Support client integration into community-living.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of Missouri-approved nurse assistant training program or other pathway accepted by the applicable Missouri credentialing authority.
- Current Missouri Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician(CMT) certification in good standing.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, or completion within the timeframe established by agency policy.
- Strong computer literacy and documentation skills.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
