Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager
Principle Objectives:
To provide world class food and beverage service to Club members and guests. Respond to our members and guests needs and desires and react swiftly to rectify all problems and concerns that may arise. Uphold the Club policies in a polite and professional manner and inform management of any policy concerns or infractions. Provide an environment of pride and teamwork for all employees. To become the standard that all other Food and Beverage departments will envy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stock station with silverware, cups and glasses.
- Set-up stations to include ice, coffee, cream, tea, water and lemons.
- Check section before and after shift to ensure everything is clean and set correctly.
- Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating.
- Promote food and drink specials.
- Answers menu questions and make suggestions.
- Take members/guests orders starting with women.
- Ring orders into POS; tell cooks and bartenders about any special instructions.
- Assembles food on tray; gather all necessary accompaniments such as steak knives, condiments or the peppermill.
- Serve meal, place dishes by course in front of each person, serving women first, from the left of each person.
- Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish beverages as necessary.
- Remove used dishes from the right of each person.
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks.
- Remove used lined and replaces with clean linen.
- Set tables with clean silverware and glassware.
- Clean the floor when necessary.
What is Expected of You:
- You are an experienced bartender with at least 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant bartending experience.
- Private club bartending experience is a plus.
- Check chairs and floors before and after meals.
- Verify accuracy of member names and member numbers on all checks.
- Handle all cash, credit card and hotel charges as applicable from guests and members.
- Perform clean-up and closing duties as requested by management.
- Perform other jobs as required by management.
- Help host staff seat members.
- Answer phone and take reservations appropriately.
- Server must possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Participate in any alcohol related training.
- Pass the liquor test.
- Attend pre-meal meetings as requested by management.
- Turn in all comment cards.
- Must greet and call all members by their last name.
Pay includes hourly wage, service charge and any additional tips. We also provide uniforms, and offer paid meal breaks and free employee meals while on shift.
FT & PT employees receive PTO that is accrued based on hours worked. FT, year-round employees are also eligible for health and dental benefits, 401K with matching.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
