Your Focus
- Strategic Launch: Lead the pre-opening sales efforts by developing comprehensive strategic plans that incorporate all business segments and align with the hotel’s lifestyle positioning.
- Revenue Generation: Achieve annual hotel revenue goals by identifying customer business requirements and crafting tailored offers that increase market share.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts and community partners to drive customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Leadership: Interview, select, and mentor a high-performing sales team, modeling professional selling techniques and fostering a commitment to HHM core values.
- Market Analysis: Use internal and external data to monitor objectives, identify sales trends, and take proactive action to correct any shortfalls against the marketing plan.
- Four-year college degree required; advanced coursework in business, marketing, or communications is a plus.
- Proven sales leadership experience in a lifestyle hotel or comparable high-end NYC property.
- Experience in hotel pre-opening and launch phases is highly preferred.
- Public relations and community marketing experience required.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, sales software, and access database tools.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to negotiate complex terms that satisfy both internal and external requirements.
