~ Would like to have the Job Skills Trainer also help our program in the summer (Mon-Thurs mornings from mid June until the end of July)
~ Work from 8:30-12:30 on Saturday mornings
Job Goal
Responsible for the supervision and training of students at community worksites, providing intensive support and evaluation of skills for student work experiences.
Reports To: WIOA Program Manager
Qualifications: High school diploma. One-year experience in vocational rehabilitation or a related field is preferred. Driver's license and personal vehicle for business time. Able to perform duties of
all targeted tasks in work experience settings.

Specific
- Evaluate client's skills and vocational needs while working at the job site.
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Responsible for providing vocational training and supervision of student performance in meeting
- Develop natural supports within the worksites.
- Reduce direct supervision by working with students to develop the ability to independently
- Educate the employer, supervisor, and co-workers about working with students including
- Complete timesheets and progress summaries.
- Know and implement regulatory requirements as it relates to: (1) Hours (2) Breaks
- Maintain ongoing contact with site supervisor.
- Build professional relationships with employers and supervisors at the worksite as a
- Substitute when needed at alternate worksites.
- Other duties as assigned.
