~ Part-time over the Summer, with possible hours on Saturday mornings during the school year

~ $18/hour

Work Date Expectations

~ Would like to have the Job Skills Trainer also help our program in the summer (Mon-Thurs mornings from mid June until the end of July)

~ Work from 8:30-12:30 on Saturday mornings

Job Goal

Responsible for the supervision and training of students at community worksites, providing intensive support and evaluation of skills for student work experiences.

Reports To: WIOA Program Manager

Qualifications: High school diploma. One-year experience in vocational rehabilitation or a related field is preferred. Driver's license and personal vehicle for business time. Able to perform duties of

all targeted tasks in work experience settings.

Specific

• Evaluate client's skills and vocational needs while working at the job site.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Responsible for providing vocational training and supervision of student performance in meeting
  
  

the business expectations of the job.

• Develop natural supports within the worksites.
• Reduce direct supervision by working with students to develop the ability to independently
  
  

complete job tasks.

• Educate the employer, supervisor, and co-workers about working with students including
  
  

modifications, adaptations for natural supports.

• Complete timesheets and progress summaries.
• Know and implement regulatory requirements as it relates to: (1) Hours (2) Breaks
• Maintain ongoing contact with site supervisor.
• Build professional relationships with employers and supervisors at the worksite as a
  
  

representative of LADSE and the WIOA program.

• Substitute when needed at alternate worksites.
• Other duties as assigned.
