Responsibilities: The candidate must:
- Record all game scores, fouls, player participation, and other official statistics during each scheduled game
- Maintain league score sheets/cards and ensure accuracy of all game documentation
- Support officials with timing, score updates, and administrative tasks as needed
- Submit game statistics and results to the DSCC Fitness Center after each event
- Attend the pre-season league meeting to understand schedules, rules, and documentation expectations
- Arrive on time for each scheduled match and remain until all records are complete
- Assist with posting player names and score sheets provided by DSCC
- Ensure timely communication with DSCC staff regarding cancellations, schedule updates, and documentation needs
- Previous experience as a score keeper, statistician, or administrative support in a recreational or competitive sports environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate written records during fast-paced games
- Basic understanding of basketball scoring and game structure
- Ability to communicate clearly with officials, players, and DSCC staff
- Must possess a valid Real ID–compliant identification for installation access
- Reliable transportation and availability on Monday evenings (1700–1900)
