Position Summary
The Quality Control Manager/Inspector will inspect food-service, sanitation, safety, administrative, and customer-service activities to verify that Ladgov’s performance meets contract requirements. This position should operate independently from daily production supervision while reporting findings to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and unannounced inspections
- Inspect kitchens, dining rooms, serving lines, storage areas, restrooms, loading docks, and exterior areas
- Verify food temperatures, sanitation practices, chemical concentrations, and cleaning results
- Inspect dishwashing, pots-and-pans, clipper-room, dining-room, and waste-management operations
- Review food-production, inventory, training, cash-handling, and property records
- Identify service deficiencies before they become recurring performance problems
- Document inspection results and maintain QC records
- Issue corrective actions and verify that deficiencies have been resolved
- Analyze recurring deficiencies and recommend preventive measures
- Support diner-feedback and customer-satisfaction programs
- Prepare information for monthly reports and quarterly performance reviews
- Coordinate quality matters with the Project Manager and facility managers
- Experience in food-service quality control, food safety, sanitation, or institutional dining operations
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food-contact sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare detailed inspection and corrective-action reports
- Strong observational and organizational skills
- Food Protection Manager certification is strongly preferred
- Ability to work across multiple facilities and shifts
- Ability to obtain installation access
