Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility
- Empty trash containers and replace liners
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and fixtures
- Clean interior windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces
- Wipe and disinfect commonly touched surfaces
- Clean offices, hallways, waiting areas, and other assigned spaces
- Restock restroom supplies as needed
- Properly use and store cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment
- Follow all facility safety, security, and infection-control procedures
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must maintain professional conduct while working around Veterans, visitors, and clinic personnel
