Qualifications
- Certified by the Roman Catholic Church to coordinate and teach CCD
- Master’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in parish religious education, youth ministry, or Catholic school teaching
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing volunteers
- Program Oversight – Develop and maintain CCD curriculum, schedule, and materials; provide instruction as needed
- Volunteer Management – Recruit, train, and supervise CCD volunteers; ensure all pass background checks
- Student Preparation – Track student progress, maintain records, and coordinate sacrament preparation and testing
- Facility Coordination – Secure classrooms and resources; submit supply requests
