Duties
- Carefully pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and order picker equipment to meet specified quantities and quality standards
- Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels, update stock records, and facilitate order fulfillment processes
- Conduct stock stocking, inventory counts, and cycle counts to maintain accurate warehouse records and support effective warehouse distribution
- Ensure packaging meets safety standards and protects products during transit while adhering to packaging guidelines for e-commerce shipments
- Assist in order picking and packing activities using order pickers, RF scanners, and other tools to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Proficiency with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners for safe handling of goods
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, international trade regulations, trade compliance standards, and customs documentation
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order quantities
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and carriers
- Physical ability to load/unload shipments regularly while maintaining safety protocols
