Summary
Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.
Minimum/Preferred Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good English writing and speaking skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Basic computer systems knowledge
- Drug Screening
- Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments
- Assembles finished good orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures
- Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs
- Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures
- Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders
- Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials
- Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors
- Restocks corrugated and productions needs
- Works with Production and Customer Service departments
- Assembles loads for other facilities as needed
- Assists in training of new employees
- Supports and complies with safety guidelines
