LADACIN (Lifetime Assistance for Developmental and Challenging Individual Needs) has been in the business for more than 75 years and is a non-profit agency whose mission is to provide a continuum of care, including educational, therapeutic, social, residential, and support services to infants, children, and adults with complex physical and developmental disabilities or delays.
The Position:
Full time position (40hrs), immediately available to care for adults with developmental and multiple physical disabilities in our Group Home in Ocean County. The hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm. The position includes driving the provided vehicle for 6 clients daily to and from and attending their day program in Lakewood. Provide support with tasks based on individual needs and safely transport clients from one location to another while helping clients get into and out of the vehicle. Obey traffic laws and transit regulations.
Requirements
Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required. Training available. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid NJ driver’s license, and at least 21 years old to drive. Home Health Aides and CNAs welcomed. Sign on Bonus $1,000.
