Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Packager / Material Handler based in Casa Grande, Arizona. Our Packagers minimum hourly wage is $17.25 (or more depending on experience), 1st Shift Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM. Full-time.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Works on assigned line to assist with packaging of yogurt containers by way of machine and / or hand packing.
• Manually stack yogurt cases onto pallets according to specified patterns and weight limits to ensure stability during transport.
• Upholds quality, safety, and cleanliness standards within designated areas.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operators.
• Set-up oncoming shift for successful run.
• Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
• Obtain information necessary to perform duties at pre-shift and post-shift meetings with off-going associates.
• Vigilantly monitor equipment operations for indications of impending problems and possible operational improvements.
• Packaging associates are responsible for satisfactorily operating the corrugator and palletizer machines.

Skills / Abilities / Knowledge

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
