Industrial Janitor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency in commercial cleaning tasks.

Schedule:
1st Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday- Friday
2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:30 PM Monday-Friday

Pay: Paid Weekly!
1st Shift: $15/hr
2nd Shift: $15.50/hr

Duties

• Must wear all PPE the entire duration of 8 hour shift, this includes: Steel toe shoes, hi vis vest, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.)
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Buff and polish floors to maintain their appearance.
• Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces as needed.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and practices is beneficial.
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
• Skills in residential painting or general maintenance can enhance your application.
