Experienced Concrete Polishing TechnicianLACOSTA is a trusted commercial and industrial flooring contractor specializing in polished concrete, epoxy coatings, and surface preparation. We serve clients across the US, delivering durable, high-performance flooring systems that meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.We are seeking an Experienced Concrete Polishing Technician who takes pride in precision, efficiency, and excellence. If you have hands-on experience with professional-grade equipment and enjoy producing top-quality polished floors, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end concrete polishing including grinding, honing, densifying, sealing, and burnishing.Operate and maintain planetary grinders, edge machines, vacuums, and burnishers (Husqvarna, Lavina, HTC, etc.).Read and follow project specifications, ensuring correct grit progression and finish level.Apply densifiers, guards, stains, and sealers per manufacturer guidelines.Conduct minor concrete repairs, patching, and surface prep as needed.Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including silica dust control and PPE use.Train and support junior technicians and assist foremen with jobsite planning.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.Qualifications3 years of hands-on experience in concrete polishing or related flooring trades.Proficient in diamond tooling selection, grit progression, and finish level control.Familiar with moisture testing, surface hardness, and coating removal techniques.Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel for projects.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in varying conditions.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate: $28–$35/hr (based on experience).Overtime pay, per diem, and travel compensation for out-of-town work.Health, dental, and vision insurance (after probation period).Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays.Advancement opportunities into Foreman or Project Lead positions.Continuous training and professional development.We conduct pre-employment drug screens and background checksLACOSTA Facility Support Services, a minority owned business contractor, has been delivering quality facility services for more than 32 years, helping customers achieve and maintain safe, clean, and efficient environments.
