What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Laconia Nursing Home (2)?
Laconia Nursing home is an independent, family-owned facility in the Bronx. We are looking for an RN to join our leadership team.
Essential Duties:
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to Residents and their families.
- Maintain documentation of Resident care services by auditing Resident and department records.
- Create appropriate care plans for residents
- Handle all supervisory duties for assigned units, including overseeing LPNs and CNAs that report to you
- Help establish and implement employment policies and procedures
- Maintain the standards of care for the units
- Review Resident records & quality of care
- Monitor overall care & review individual Residents’ cases
- Address questions or complaints brought forward by Residents or their families
Education, Experience and/or Training:
- Long-term Care experience preferred
- Valid RN license required
- 2-4 years management experience.
- knowledge of City, State and Federal regulations pertaining to licensed skilled nursing facilities.
