General Maintenance Staff Position (Laconia)
compensation: salary commensurate to experience

Laconia Housing, a property management and support services agency, is looking to fill a full-time position in our maintenance department. This position requires knowledge of a range of equipment and procedures such as landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, work orders, etc.
The ability to operate a plow truck is a plus. Applicants must be able to lift and transfer 50 lbs. on a regular basis and possess a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Address resident service requests as directed by the Property Manager or Maintenance Director
- Repair or replace in-unit and common area lights, filters, fans, paint, etc. as needed to maintain property appearance
- Require knowledge of plumbing, heating, electrical and mechanical experience
- Perform in-unit and community-wide preventative maintenance efforts
- Assist other members of the maintenance team with ongoing property upkeep efforts, including landscaping, trash removal, and cleaning, snow removal
- Identify and correct hazardous property conditions at the direction of the Maintenance Director
- Prepare vacant and make ready apartment for move‐ins when needed
- Contribute to a management team culture focused on customer service
- Respond in a timely manner to work orders. Work independently and complete necessary paperwork.
- Understand and comply with all applicable Safety Rules and Health and Safety Regulations.
- Follow a weekly work schedule and complete necessary documentation.
- Seasonally maintain lawns, shrubbery, and other landscaping using manual and motorized equipment.
- Seasonally clear walkways of snow and ice using manual and motorized equipment as well as clearing snow from parking lots, will include weekends for snow removal
- Perform additional duties as necessary or at the request of the Maintenance Director
