What are the responsibilities and job description for the PAT Educator (Part time) position at Laclede County R-I?
Job Goal: To work with families with young children, in the home, prior to students entering Kindergarten. Activities will be scheduled at school as well
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities and strategies which support early literacy and math.
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities and strategies which promote the social and emotional skills necessary for successful transition to Kindergarten.
- Provide opportunity for parents to become involved in their child’s growth and development through parent education and participation through home visits.
- Coordinate meetings and activities for PAT
- Maintain accurate and current bookkeeping records for PAT.
- Collaborate with other PAT educators in the district
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attend meetings as requested.
- Other duties as assigned
