Substitute School Nurse Position Overview The successful candidates must be either a Licensed Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing health care, health education and health promotion to students and staff.
Must possess knowledge of current state immunization guidelines and all work must be performed in accordance with accepted professional nursing standards. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people who enjoy working in a positive and professional school environment.
Qualifications: Individuals must comply with the code of ethics of the nursing profession and adhere to the standards of the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements include: Must be a registered or licensed practical nurse and graduate of accredited school of nursing, with a current Missouri license; prior nursing experience preferred. A background check for Joel E. Barber is requried and viewing the Districts required Vector MUSIC training videos.
