What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermediate Clerk position at LACERA?
There are currently two (2) vacancies in the Document Processing Center within the Administrative Services Division. The resulting eligible register will be used to fill both current and future vacancies throughout LACERA.
Positions allocable to this class typically report to a clerical supervisor or higher and are assigned to various divisions throughout LACERA to perform specialized clerical duties requiring a working knowledge of specialized subject matter and related clerical functions. Incumbents are expected to have knowledge of general office procedures; operation of standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, printers, and scanners; and general records management. They are also expected to be proficient in using digital software tools and platforms to carry out specialized clerical tasks. This role requires initiative and the exercise of independent judgment within established policies and procedures.
