Job Overview
I am a solo mobile veterinarian providing veterinary care to dogs and cats in their home. We provide vaccinations, exams, diagnostics, and in home euthanasia.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarian with animal examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety
- Support laboratory work including sample collection, processing, and basic testing procedures
- Clean up after appointments
- Carry equipment and supplies to and from appointment
Qualifications
- Experience in animal husbandry or pet care environments is highly valued
- Ability to perform animal restraint effectively for dogs and cats
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, medication administration, and laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Be physically able to lift at least 50lbs
This is a unique practice in which we get to see animals in the comfort of their own homes. We strive to provide high quality care and give each pet individualized care. We are slow paced, and do not have 15 minute appointment windows.
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
