Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Ensure food presentation meets quality standards before delivery to guests
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs of guests
- Support the serving team by delivering beverages, utensils, or additional items as needed during service
- Handle POS systems such as Toast for order accuracy and efficient service when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of service stations and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when transporting trays or supplies
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous
- Familiarity with banquet service or hotel hospitality experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining excellent customer service standards
