Responsibilities
- Safely operate your own vehicle to pick up and deliver packages or food orders to customers’ locations.
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing friendly and professional service.
- Manage delivery routes efficiently using GPS or mapping tools to optimize time and fuel usage.
- Handle packages with care, verifying contents and documentation during pickups and drop-offs.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle to meet safety standards and company policies.
- Complete all required delivery logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly.
Experience
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in food service or similar roles that involve handling customer interactions is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
