We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using EMR/EHR systems with precision and attention to detail
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical histories
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to document diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans
- Support physicians during patient visits by managing documentation and facilitating smooth workflow
- Ensure proper handling of medical records, including filing, retrieving, and updating patient information
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and supporting clinical team as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is required, especially with EMR/EHR (e-clinical works) systems and medical documentation processes
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is required to accurately transcribe and understand clinical notes
- Experience with transcription or medical records management
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy for efficient documentation during patient encounters
- Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Bilingual, fluent in spanish highly desirable
