Labrador Construction is seeking a licensed Architect to join our team. We take on a range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects and are looking for someone with solid experience who can take ownership of the architectural side of our work. An active Florida architectural license, a valid seal, and the ability to sign and seal construction documents are required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural plans and construction documents from concept through permit submission.
- Sign and seal plans for submission to local building departments and jurisdictions.
- Work directly with clients to develop, present, and refine project designs.
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors throughout the design and construction process.
- Ensure all designs comply with Florida Building Code and local zoning requirements.
- Prepare drawings and 3D renderings for client presentations as needed.
- Manage design revisions and negotiate modifications with clients and contractors when needed.
Requirements
- Active Florida Registered Architect license in good standing with the DBPR — required.
- Valid Florida architectural seal with the ability to sign and seal plans — required.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Florida Building Code and local permitting processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Salary : $140,000 - $150,000
