What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromechanical Assembly Technician position at LABORNOW?
We are immediately hiring for an Electromechanical Assembly Technician in Arlington, TX. In this role, you will assemble mechanical parts, components, and finished products using a variety of tools and equipment in a production environment.
Shift Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to accurately assemble equipment and products.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, wire cutters, and drills.
- Perform soldering in subassembly operations (SMALL COMPONENTS).
- Maintain inventory of product at workstations.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are found.
- Rework and/or repair products according to engineering specification changes.
- Support team objectives by completing assigned tasks and proactively assisting with additional work as needed.
- Work effectively in a lean manufacturing environment while meeting production goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-4 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred.
- Reading and comprehension skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- computer skills and ability to navigate common software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and dependability.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
