Job Overview: We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Drivers to join our team at a food manufacturing plant. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our operations. The ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of forklift driving experience and be available to work 10 hour shift. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials around the facility safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate placement and storage of goods.
- Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a Forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and moving heavy items
