Yard Goat Driver/Forklift Operator
Spanaway, WA
$21.00 - $23.71 per hour
Responsibilities:
Operate specialized vehicles (yard goat) to move trailers and other equipment within the
warehouse yard, efficiently and safely position trailers for loading, unloading and other
operations.
- Maneuver trailers between loading docks, staging areas, and other designated
locations within the yard.
- Safely attach and detach trailers from the yard truck.
- Maintain an organized and efficient yard layout.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the yard truck and trailers.
- Coordinate with guard, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other drivers.
- Operate warehouse equipment/forklifts
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous yard goat and warehouse experience minimum 1 year
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Cleaning driving record (no moving violations in the past 2 years)
