Now Hiring: Transportation Dispatcher

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $19.50/hour

We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Transportation Dispatcher to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coordinating schedules, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!!

Job Duties

• Coordinate daily schedules for truck drivers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Dispatch drivers and manage transportation activities across multiple locations.
• Oversee scale operations and update equipment movements in Remis.
• Verify trailers and containers are loaded correctly before entering the scale.
• Operate truck scales, cameras, scanners, and printers to ensure accurate load processing.
• Maintain equipment inventory logs and keep dispatch tracking boards current.
• Complete and organize all required transportation paperwork each day.
• Schedule appointments for pickups and deliveries at company facilities, remote yards, and customer locations.
• Monitor driver electronic logs (E-Logs) and ensure DOT hours-of-service compliance.
• Train drivers on dispatch systems and in-cab technology, reporting equipment issues to the Transportation Manager.
• Plan driver schedules 1–2 days in advance and communicate schedule changes with customers as needed.
• Work closely with Yard Operations to coordinate truck flow, material needs, and load changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hours-of-service requirements is preferred.
• Experience with dispatch, logistics, or transportation management software is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

• Pay: $19.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Full-time position
