Irrigation Winterization Technician / Helper

LaborMAX Staffing is hiring for an Irrigation Winterization Technician/Helper!

We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-friendly individual to assist an experienced lead technician with residential sprinkler system winterizations. Irrigation experience is a plus, but willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are more important.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead technician with sprinkler system winterizations
• Handle, pull, and coil hoses
• Set up, move, and put away equipment
• Access irrigation components throughout residential properties
• Follow instructions and safety procedures when working with equipment and compressed air
• Help keep equipment and work areas organized
• Leave each customer’s property clean and neat
• Provide polite, professional, and respectful customer service

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to the designated morning meeting location
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, windy, and damp conditions
• Physically able to repeatedly pull and coil hoses, carry equipment, bend, kneel, and walk across uneven yards
• Able to lift and carry equipment as needed throughout the workday
• Safety-conscious and willing to follow instructions
• Comfortable working as part of a team and assisting a lead technician
• Willing and able to learn a repeatable process and follow a checklist
• Professional and respectful when working around customers and their property
• Smartphone required for directions, appointments, and job photos

Preferred Experience:

• Irrigation winterization or sprinkler service
• Landscaping or other outdoor work
• Construction or general labor experience
• Experience with air compressors, hose reels, or basic hand tools
• Towing or backing trailers
• Experience using a smartphone for directions, appointments, and job documentation

Irrigation experience is NOT required. The lead technician will provide training on the winterization process.
