Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Operations team, the Material Handler will handle raw and finished goods materials, facilitating their movement within the plant to support production processes.
About the Role:
- Receive incoming raw materials and verify count accuracy.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with inventory control personnel to manage stock levels and prevent shortages
- Maintain accurate documentation of material handling activities using computers
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus
- 0-1 years’ experience in material handling, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting
- Ability to follow established procedures on routine work without instruction, requiring instruction only on new assignments
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly
- Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
