Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff or Director Physical Therapist at LaBorde Occupational and Physical Therapy Center in Lafayette, LA. The role involves assessing patients’ needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions. Responsibilities include evaluating patient progress, adapting treatment strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes. The selected candidate will also educate patients on maintaining and improving their physical health beyond therapy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in physical therapy techniques for the rehabilitation of hip, knee, ankle, foot, back, and neck conditions
• Experience developing personalized treatment plans, assessing patient progress, and adjusting interventions as needed
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledgeable about special rehabilitation programs for conditions such as carpal tunnel, arthritis, fibromyalgia, and sports injuries
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Louisiana
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution required
