Job Summary
Laboratory Services MSO is a rapidly growing laboratory management organization overseeing laboratories in 4 different states. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist with toxicology (LCMS) experience to join our growing team at our headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA.
Duties:
- Follow the laboratory's procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results;
- Analyze patient toxicology results using MassHunter LCMS software;
- Report out patient results in a timely manner according to established Key Performance Indicators designed to ensure complete accuracy and industry leading result turn around time;
- Maintain records that demonstrate that proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens;
- Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed;
- Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance;
- Can identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notify the department supervisors, QA manager, chief technologist, laboratory manager, clinical consultant, or laboratory director;
- Document all corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
Skills & Job Requirements
- Experience with various chemistry analyzers. (AU, Mindray, Centaur, Access)
- Strong understanding of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and result tracking.
- (REQUIRED)Experience with LCMS techniques, sample processing, data analysis and troubleshooting. Agilent experience is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with medical staff and clear reporting of findings.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise during testing processes.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
Licensing
- ASCP Generalist License Required

- Tuesday - Saturday 12pm-8:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43.00 - $60.00 per hour
