Laboratory Express is seeking a Virtual Chat Support representative to provide online customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Work from home while helping people access important laboratory testing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to online chat inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
- Assist with test scheduling, appointment booking, and location information
- Answer questions about test preparation, insurance coverage, and billing
- Process basic patient information requests and provide general laboratory information
- Escalate complex medical or technical questions to appropriate laboratory staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of all chat interactions in CRM system
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service, chat support, or call center experience preferred
- Excellent written communication skills and fast, accurate typing
- Strong computer skills and ability to multitask between multiple chat windows
- Reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently from home
- No healthcare experience required - comprehensive training in laboratory services and medical terminology provided!
- Dedicated workspace free from distractions and background noise

- Computer provided by Laboratory Express or meet technical specifications
- Available during scheduled shift hours with reliable attendance
