Job Summary
Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Hours: 2pm-1am
Schedule: Weekends (weekdays also available!)
We are hiring for highly-motivated and reliable General Laborers for warehouse roles with full-time schedules. Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary
- Sort and organize incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure accurate placement within the warehouse
- Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement and update digital records accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying items against shipping documents
- Maintain organized filing systems for documentation related to shipments, receipts, and inventory
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move goods safely within the warehouse
- Support warehouse distribution activities by ensuring timely processing of orders and stock replenishment
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus; certification is advantageous but not mandatory
- Experience using RF scanners or similar inventory management tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in handling documentation and inventory
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting consistently and safely
- Basic knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse processes
- Previous experience in warehouse sorting or logistics roles is highly desirable
