Maintenance Technician

Position Overview:The Mid-Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing machinery and facility systems. This position requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical issues.Conduct routine and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime.Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recurring equipment issues.Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Collaborate with other departments to support continuous production operations.Provide input on process and equipment improvements to enhance reliability and performance.Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of machinery preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Minimum 2 years of experience with basic electrical and plumbing repairs.At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and schematics.Must have personal tools and demonstrate good tool-handling practices.Working knowledge of safety practices and industrial equipment operation.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a strong work ethic.Preferred Qualifications:Background in the sheet metal fabrication industry a plus.Coursework or hands-on experience related to industrial electricity.Proven ability to perform both routine and emergency repairs efficiently.Benefits include:401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Paid time offEmployee assistance programSupportive, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growthCompany DescriptionLabor Solutions, LLC is a leader in the professional, temporary, and direct hire industry throughout the Midwest area.
