Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Assistant to provide critical support to our accounting and operations team. This role combines administrative coordination with hands-on accounting duties such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and vendor communication. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, accuracy, and contributing to a team that values collaboration and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and verify vendor invoices and payments in accordance with company policies.Reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors in a timely manner.Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks as needed.Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, purchase orders, and other accounting documentation.Support internal recordkeeping — filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate digital and paper files.Track and order office supplies and manage general administrative tasks.Answer and route phone calls professionally and assist with internal and external inquiries.Provide additional administrative and project support to the management team.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Working knowledge of general accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentialityExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred:1–3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, or Administrative rolesBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business AdministrationWhy Join UsCompetitive pay and profit-sharing opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchLife and disability insurancePaid holidays, vacation, and sick leaveStable, team-oriented environment with opportunities to growWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, on-site position in a professional office setting.
