Administrative Assistant
Location: Lake Zurich, IL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $23/hour
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works closely with plant leadership, production, and quality teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to plant management, production, and quality teams
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
- Maintain organized filing systems (both physical and electronic)
- Coordinate shipping documentation, including bills of lading and delivery schedules
- Assist with purchase orders, vendor communication, and supply tracking
- Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks
- Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience (manufacturing or food production environment preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Bilingual is a plus ( not required)
