Job description:
Labor Services Company, a family-owned transportation company that has been in operation for over fifty (50) years, is currently hiring a TEMPORARY Rail Customer Service Coordinator for the Sparta, NJ location. The position is temporary, and it may be just a day or two or as long as 8 weeks. A person must be available before 10/20/25 to train. Training will be 8-2 pm. If the person is still out after the 19th, hours will be 8am-4:00pm/4:30pm Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and placing orders in system
- Compiling paperwork for the loaders (simple conversions from pounds/gallons) attention to detail, comparing products against railcars, etc.
- Intake of drivers, providing paperwork for loading
- Entering weights/seals/details to Bill of Lading to Complete driver paperwork
- Completing final paperwork by closing out in system and scanning/filing
- Conducting rail switches Call in/release railcars
- Answering customers inquiries/keeping track of changes to orders
- Weekly pay, direct deposit
Candidates must:
- Pass a drug test, physical & background check
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- 8-hour shift
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
