Field Engineer

Position Summary
Eratex Energy Services is seeking a Field Engineer to support industrial construction projects through planning, coordination, documentation, and communication between the office and the jobsite. This position is primarily office-based and involves assisting project management with engineering support, scheduling, reporting, and project documentation, with occasional site visits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and project coordination.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and reports.
- Track project progress, labor hours, and material usage.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure documentation is current.
- Assist with procurement, estimating, and project closeout activities.
- Monitor project schedules and communicate updates to the project team.
- Conduct occasional field visits to verify progress and gather project information.
- Support project execution while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial construction, engineering, or project coordination.
- Experience supporting LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, or heavy industrial construction projects preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with project management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
