Masters, Journeyman, Apprentice and Helpers
- Responsibilities:
Installing, servicing, and repairing conduit, wiring, motors, generators, and high-voltage systems. - Troubleshooting using diagnostic tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters to identify and fix malfunctioning industrial equipment
- .Performing maintenance routine maintenance and safety checks to prevent equipment failure.
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure systems meet code.
- Modifying or upgrading existing, complex control systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of 3-phase systems, PLC controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).
- Ability to quickly diagnose and fix issues to minimize production downtime.
- Capable of working in industrial environments, which may involve lifting, climbing, and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or GED, followed by completion of an apprenticeship or technical training program with certifications.
